HBRC Journal 2004
The first issue of HBRC Journal was published in December 2004 on the occasion of the celebration of the 50^th anniversary (the golden jubilee) of the establishment of The Housing and Building National Research Center. The first issue included the best research manuscripts that was presented at the congressional conference centered on its establishment.
Year 2010 to 2015
HBRC Journal partnered with the international publisher EL-Sevier, and 266 research papers were published.
Year 2016 to 2018
HBRC Journal partnered with the international publisher EVISE, and 123 research papers were published, which were subject to arbitration by specialists in their engineering fields, whether from inside or outside of Egypt.
2019 until present:
We have partnered with the international publisher Taylor & Francis publishing company through a contract with the Academy of Scientific Research. The scientific papers are uploaded after arbitration by specialists in their engineering fields, whether from inside or outside of Egypt. So far, 125 papers have been published on the Taylor & Francis website.

The Center’s scientific journal has been listed among the journals approved by the promotion committees in the engineering sector (Supreme Council of Universities).
The private database of referees from outside Egypt has been expanded, in order to improve the evaluation of the Center’s scientific journal rank and achieve the necessary requirements to be Scopus indexed. Currently the journal is both Scopus indexed and Q2 
The magazine was accepted according to the JUFO indexing of Finland
