Vision:
Sanitary and Environmental Engineering Research Institute is one of the institutes of The Housing and Building National Research Center and entrusted with providing the highest quality of tests and services to all its clients in a satisfactory manner, while adhering to the requirements of the international standard ISO / IEC 17025:2017and to achieve this the Institute works on:
• Improving and developing the institute’s laboratories (piping lab - environmental chemistry lab - microbiology lab).
• Carry out tests, services and conducts research and studies with the aim of proposing new water treatment systems, evaluating the systems used in treatment and the methods to be applied in Egypt.
• Conduct routine tests to assess the extent of water pollution, determine its quality, evaluate consultancy services, quality control of projects, verify compliance with quality control standards, and participate in preparing codes and training in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering.
• Support the concerned ministries (housing - environment) in making decisions and conducting studies.
• Opening new channels to increase the number of customers and the volume of work in the national market of Egypt.
• The administration of the Institute work on developing the effectiveness of the system in order to continuously improve the efficiency of the system and achieve customer satisfaction by raising the staff capabilities through awareness programs, training and continuous updating of work tools such as devices, equipment, technical methods, regular periodic calibrations of laboratory devices, and developing the management system to achieve higher performance rates
