First: Pipes' laboratory:
-The laboratory conducts physical, mechanical and engineering performance tests on the pipes used in the water and sewage feeding networks and their accessories, including the following types (clay pipes - UPVC plastic pipes - P.PR—P.E GRP-reinforced polyester pipes - concrete pipes - gray cast pipes – flexible cast iron pipes)
- Tests on rubber gaskets used in pipe fittings, which include mechanical, chemical and toxicity test.
- Tests on steel pipes and their accessories to determine their chemical components as well as their mechanical properties according to relevant specifications.
- Mechanical and physical tests on Polyethylene Sheets used in insulation layers in oxidation ponds for wastewater treatment plants and also used in surfaces insulation works.
- Hydrostatic pressure test, shock test (free fall), tensile and elongation test, stiffness test, compression test using parallel plates, hardness test (for metals-plastics) thermal effect test, dimensional measurement and virtual inspection, thickness measurement of inner and outer protective layers, Pendulum shock test (7.5 , 15 , 50 , 300 joules), MFR-MVR flow rate test, crushing test, mechanical and chemical tests.
- (manholes covers - manholes), smoke test for sewage systems, pressure test for water networks in buildings.

Second Chemistry lab:
- The laboratory is concerned with chemical tests for drinking water, sewage water and industrial wastewater.
- Chemical tests for pipes( concrete- clay - plastic- GRP- U.P.V.C)
- Chemical tests of ground water and soil surrounding networks and facilities.
- Chemical tests of acid-resistant bricks used in lining sewage channels.
- Chemical tests of building materials such as sand, gravel and coarse aggregate used in the implementation of networks.
- Chemical tests for sanitary ware (glazed sanitary tools - ceramic tiles).
- Chemical tests of insulation materials used in the insulation of identical manholes and sewage pipes of all kinds

Third: Microbiology laboratory:
- The laboratory conducts bacteriological tests for the drinking water, sewage, industrial and groundwater sectors, which are bacteriological tests - detection of different types of algae - detection of parasites and protozoa - identification of bacterial and fungal toxins.
- Analyzing drinking water samples and assessing their compliance with Egyptian and international standards.
- Analyzing well water of private and public use and assessing its suitability for various purposes.
- Evaluation of all water treatment processes for the production of drinking water or industrial water.
- Evaluation of sewage or industrial waste water treatment projects.
- Full evaluation of private and public swimming pools, whether in terms of treatment processes or health risks which may be exposed to those who use these pools and how to avoid them.
