The institute’s work specializations
The Institute conducts Research on Structures and Surrounding Environmental Factors within the following points:
• Study and analyze the surrounding climatic environmental factors, air movement and natural ventilation around and inside the facilities and their impact on thermal behavior using a wind tunnel.
• Study and determine the physical properties of building materials and insulating materials exposed to heat and high temperatures.
• Study the rationalization of energy consumption and the use of new and renewable energies in residential buildings for the purpose of reducing cooling and heating loads in summer and winter to achieve thermal comfort compatible with environmental architecture.
• Study the properties and uses of sound absorption and insulation materials and noise control methods.
• Study design and examine halls from an acoustical perspective.• Study the design of natural and artificial lighting works of buildings for the purpose of energy conservation
